A Study on Journey of Brocades

Abstract

The present study on Journey of Brocades gives an insight into brocades’ origin, history, weaving process, patterns, different fabrics used, types and qualities of brocades and different types of colors used in brocades. The flow chart introduces the various weaving activities and attempt has been made to search little latest variety of brocades. This study reveals the originality of brocades and also their rich value in our Indian Textiles till date.
